Getting ready to travel

We've travelled SO much in the past year and half that getting ready to go again to Vietnam, and this time Cambodia seems like just another thing. Never in a million years while we lived in Indiana would we have ever taken such a cavalier attitude about travelling across the country, much less to an international destination. The old adage, "The first step is always the most difficult" stands true time and time again.

We'll be leaving for Siem Reap, Cambodia on Saturday, and there was a (albeit small) mixup with our Cambodian visas. We got it to the right people, and it looks like everything will be fine. My point? Well that I didn't really even bat an eyelash when we realized the mistake. That's just part of travelling. Before I moved overseas I wanted, or wished, hell, expected everything to work, and be flawless.

I just ain't, and that's ok.
