Back in the US of A!
Back for quite awhile I'm afraid. We got back in the middle of July, but I've only just now updated the website. Why you ask? Well the very best excuse that I can come up with is laziness. Yep. I'm sticking to that one.
Seriously though, we've been on the run it seems since stepping foot back on good, old American asphalt. We bought a truck which pictured sits at my parent's new (and ours incidentally) retirement home in Knoxville, Tennessee. We left DC ealry in September and we're scheduled to leave for Armenia in early October. We really, really, really wanted to get up to the Boston area to visit our Beantown homies if only for a weekend, but as of right now it's not looking like it is in the cards.
Please understand that we aren't avoiding any of you. We'll definately do our return back to the States a bit differently next time. Maybe renting a posh, beach or lake-front villa in a central location and giving you all TONS of advance time to come spend a few days with us. Through trial-and-error (mostly error on our part) we found that it's virtually impossible to be in more than one place at once. Misty's working on this spacetime continuum thing, but I don't think she'll get it solved in time. At the very least next time there will be three of us!
We've completed all our adoption paperwork, and it's currently in China being translated for the adoption authorities there. We expect to hear about a referral sometime around the end of this year, and plan to travel to Beijing next spring to pick up our new baby. Misty thinks that she'll be the crazed love-child of a Mongolian horsemen, and Chinese princess, and I have a gut feeling that they will be twins. :)
I'll make Misty write more in the next few days too! We're taking the cats to the vet later this morning, and then we have to go to the dentist to have some third-world dentistry fixed! Trust me when I say that you get what you pay for...

Well, it's about time you updated this, you lazy ass! I'm kidding of course. Let me know if you guys need anything. And, my monument photo was published in the Indy Star, oh yeah, I'm bigtime now. I received an honorable mention, but no money.
Later,
Lynne
